As CDW prepared to launch their new logged-in app experience, they needed a solution to creatively thinking through loading and empty states. The opportunity for a more visual onboarding experience to the app arose as well.

The solution was using an illustration series and then customizing the content and colors. This eye-catching medium tells a story in a way that photography, technical diagrams, and icons could not. The illustration series was able to be applied to other areas outside of just the mobile app, like on the desktop site. In partnership with IA Collaborative.
